Job Description Summary:  

Zllius Inc.  is seeking an ambitious and enthusiastic Java Developer to join a growing team and work passionately selling temporary staffing and consulting services in the Information Technology and Engineering space.  

A strong candidate must demonstrate the ability to create the leads with clients to get the projects and build strong ties with 100% result oriented. The ideal candidate would understand research methodologies commonly utilized and be able to design a research methodology with limited client input.  

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, test, and monitor solutions consistent with the standards of the global project team. 
• Utilize in-depth specialty knowledge of applications development to analyze complex problems/issues, provide evaluation of business process, system process, and industry standards, and make evaluative judgement. 
• Monitor and control all phases of development process and analysis, design, construction, testing, and implementation as well as provide user and operational support on applications to business users. 
• Recommend and develop security measures in post implementation analysis of business usage to ensure successful system design and functionality. 
• Consult with users/clients and other technology groups on issues, recommend advanced programming solutions, and install and assist customer exposure systems. 
• Ensure essential procedures are followed and help define operating standards and processes 
• Serve as advisor or coach to new or lower-level analysts. 

Experience & Knowledge:

• Bachelor’s degree/University degree is required. 
• 5 to 8 years of relevant experience as a Java Developer. 
• Strong hands-on experience of J2EE technologies and architecture including multi-threading. 
• Strong hands-on experience of Big Data Technologies (Hadoop, MongoDB, Spark, Storm, Kafka). 
• Good knowledge of NoSQL, RDBMS, Impala and/or Hive.
• Prefer experience in a financial industry. 

Education:

• Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Computer Information Systems or Management Information Systems or related field

Work Location & Physical Requirements:

• This position primarily works in an office environment. It requires frequent sitting, standing and walking. Daily use of a computer and other computing and digital devices is required. May stand for extended periods when facilitating meetings or walking in the facilities.
• The physical demands of the position described herein are essential functions of the job and employees must be able to successfully perform these tasks for extended periods.
